Why eMaester?
I was a homemaker, though I had work experience in the airlines industry and had also taught abroad before. I wanted to get back to working, and eMaester came as the perfect opportunity for me.
Life after eMaester
Life is very satisfying as I am following my passion through uFaber, by teaching online and I have also learnt a lot in the process.
My family is really happy too. They feel great that at the age of 53 too I am enthusiastic and excited to teach and learn.
The Student Connect
There is a real strong rapport with my students because I take classes through Skype so we can see each other and the students are free to call me whenever they want to clarify doubts.
When they do well in their IELTS exams, the students are elated and thrilled. I feel extremely happy and fulfilled too.
The Virtual Experience
Teaching virtually is not difficult or cumbersome at all. Since we are teaching online, we use a lot of technology- especially while allotting assignments to the students which the students send/upload in the portal, correcting/editing writing tasks. The students watch audios and videos on the uFaber portal itself.
So it’s not a nightmare at all! I plan things in advance and manage my time well, the whole teaching process is very user-friendly.
What’s your favourite thing about being an eMaester?
I love the fact that I can work from the comfort of my home and work according to the timings which suit me.
